Black Myth: Wukong Switch 2 Port Rumors: What Gamers Need to Know in 2026
https://dealnesthq.com
Rumors in the video game industry are a bit like monkeys in a tree: they swing around, make a lot of noise, and occasionally one of them lands somewhere interesting. In 2025, NateTheHate dropped a juicy one: Black Myth: Wukong, Game Science's action RPG smash hit, might be heading to Nintendo Switch 2. The game didn't show up at a Partner Direct, as some had predicted, but that doesn't mean the idea is dead in the water. As 2026 rolls on, the question still hangs in the air: is Game Science actually cooking a Switch 2 port? 🐒🎮 The Rumor That Won't Quit During a podcast episode, NateTheHate explained that he had heard the game was coming to Switch 2 at some point. He framed it as a prediction for a Partner Direct, but the real headline was simpler: Black Myth: Wukong was reportedly on its way to Nintendo's new hardware. The Direct came and went without a monkey in sight. Still, fans shouldn't rule out that Game Science is working on it now. After all, porting a massive Unreal Engine 5 title doesn't happen overnight. It takes time, money, and a whole lot of optimization wizardry. 🧙♂️ A Launch History Full of Twists Black Myth: Wukong already has a strange and testy history. It launched on PC and PlayStation 5 on August 20, 2024. Then it came to Xbox exactly one year later, on August 20, 2025. That gap raised eyebrows. For months, rumors swirled that Sony had worked out some sort of deal with Game Science to ensure the game would be ready for PlayStation 5 first. Whether that deal was a timed exclusivity agreement, marketing support, or just optimization help, nobody outside the boardroom knows for sure. What does seem relevant, even in 2026, is that Game Science was new to console games. The studio needed help optimizing Black Myth: Wukong for consoles, and that need would be even greater for Switch 2. Platform Launch Date Notes PC August 20, 2024 Launched alongside PS5 PlayStation 5 August 20, 2024 Rumored Sony deal Xbox Series X/S August 20, 2025 Exactly one year later Nintendo Switch 2 TBD Rumored, not confirmed Why Optimization Is the Real Boss Fight Switch 2 is more capable than its predecessor, but it's still not a PS5 or a high-end PC. Black Myth: Wukong is a demanding game with dense environments, ray-traced lighting options, and brutal combat effects. Getting it to run on a portable hybrid system is no small feat. If the rumor is true, Game Science would likely need to work with Shiver Entertainment or another conversion specialist. Nintendo acquired Shiver in 2024, and the studio has a reputation for handling tricky ports. A great Switch 2 version wouldn't just be a miracle; it would be a carefully engineered compromise. Challenge Possible Solution Heavy GPU load DLSS-style upscaling, lower internal resolution CPU bottlenecks Reduced NPC density, simplified physics Memory constraints Aggressive asset streaming, texture compression Battery life 30 FPS cap, dynamic resolution Load times Switch 2's faster storage, smart caching What a Switch 2 Version Could Look Like Players shouldn't expect parity with PS5. They should expect a version that captures the spirit of the game while making smart cuts. Here's what a realistic port might offer: 🎯 720p to 900p in handheld mode, upscaled to 1080p 🖥️ 1080p docked with dynamic resolution scaling 🌀 30 FPS target, with occasional dips in chaotic fights 🌫️ Reduced draw distance and foliage density 🗡️ All content and bosses intact, no cut corners on gameplay ⚡ Faster load times thanks to Switch 2's SSD-like storage That might not sound like a dream, but for a handheld, it would be impressive. The Steam Deck struggles with Black Myth: Wukong, and Switch 2 is in a similar ballpark. A good port would be a technical achievement worth celebrating. 🏆 Why Nintendo Might Want This Nintendo has been courting mature third-party games for Switch 2. Black Myth: Wukong would b

Wuthering Waves Denia Build Guide: Best Weapons, Echoes, and Teams
https://dealnesthq.com
Denia has officially landed in Wuthering Waves, and the community has been buzzing ever since her limited-time banner dropped. She's a 5-star Fusion Rectifier user who wears two hats — Sub-DPS and support — and she wears both of them like a glove. Whether players are stacking Fusion Burst stacks or leaning into Tune Strain shenanigans, Denia is the kind of unit who slots into almost any team and makes everyone around her hit harder. In short, she's the whole nine yards, and if someone pulls her, they'd better know how to build her properly. Denia at a Glance Before diving into the nitty-gritty, here's the quick-and-dirty stat sheet that players need to keep in mind: Attribute Details Rarity ⭐ 5-star Element 🔥 Fusion Weapon Rectifier Team Role Resonance Liberation Sub-DPS / Support Base ATK 425 Base DEF 1148 Base HP 11025 Anyone who already owns Aemeath or Luuk Herssen should seriously consider pulling for her, because she's arguably one of their best teammates on the roster right now. Her Fusion Damage amplification is no joke, and her Tune Strain effects hit like a truck. Best Weapons for Denia Since Denia lives and breathes Fusion Sub-DPS gameplay, the ideal weapons are the ones that hand out high ATK, Crit Rate or Crit DMG, and Resonance Liberation DMG bonuses. Anything that boosts Fusion Burst or Tune Strain is icing on the cake. Weapon Rarity Why It Works Forged Dwarf Star 5-star (Signature) Crit Rate stat, plus 36% Resonance Liberation DMG and ATK when she inflicts Fusion Burst or Tune Strain Stringmaster 5-star Crit Rate and consistent ATK buffs Lethean Elegy 5-star High Base ATK, Crit Rate, DEF ignore Cosmic Ripples 5-star Solid alternative for damage-focused setups Augment 4-star Decent ATK buff on a budget Waltz in Masquerade 4-star Another affordable ATK option Forged Dwarf Star is the undisputed best-in-slot. It's tailor-made for her passive, and the numbers speak for themselves. For players without it, Stringmaster is a fantastic fallback, while Lethean Elegy brings DEF ignore to the table. The 4-star options work in a pinch, but the damage drop-off is noticeable — no two ways about it. Best Echoes for Denia Echo choice can make or break a build, and Denia is no exception. Trickster — the top pick. Low transformation time means it won't gum up the team rotation, and it hands over a clean 12% Fusion DMG Bonus. Lioness of Glory — the runner-up, offering 12% Fusion DMG Bonus plus Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus. Voidwing Moth — a serviceable option if the stats roll well. Impermanence Heron — same deal; only worth it with great substats. Best Sonata Sets Denia is spoiled for choice when it comes to Sonata sets, and the right one depends entirely on her role in the team. Set Best For Chromatic Foam (5-pc) 20% Fusion DMG for Denia, 25% for the incoming character — ideal on Fusion Burst teams Reels of Spliced Memories (5-pc) The go-to for Tune Strain teams Flaming Clawprint (5-pc) Solid alternative if the above are missing Moonlit Clouds (5-pc) Budget-friendly fallback with team utility Best Denia Teams Team building hinges on which Resonance mode players want to lean into. Fusion Burst Mode Aemeath capitalizes fully on Denia's Fusion DMG buffs and Fusion Burst amplification. Lupa and Chisa provide extra Fusion-related buffs and sustain. Tune Strain Mode Luuk Herssen synergizes perfectly thanks to faster Off-Tune buildup and Tune Break Boost effects. Mornye rounds things out with extra buffs and utility. Main DPS Mode Lynae brings strong off-field buffs and damage amplification. Mornye keeps the team consistent and alive. Free-to-Play Setup Encore and Verina form a reliable core, with Denia acting as a powerful Sub-DPS and Fusion support while Verina handles buffs and healing. Denia's Kit Explained Denia scales off ATK and juggles two distinct modes: Fusion Burst and Tune Strain. Dark Core — she can hold up

Wuthering Waves 3.3 Livestream: My Hype and Expectations as a Player
https://dealnesthq.com
I’ve been playing Wuthering Waves since launch, and I can’t believe we’re already approaching the second anniversary. The next major update, version 3.3, is almost here, and Kuro Games is hosting a special livestream to reveal everything. As a dedicated player, I’ve marked my calendar for April 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM CST. This isn’t just any update—it’s the anniversary update, so I’m expecting big things. When and Where to Watch The livestream will be broadcast on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube and Twitch channels. I’ll probably watch on YouTube, but I might have Twitch open on my second monitor for the chat. The broadcast starts at 7 PM CST, which is China Standard Time (UTC+8). For my friends around the world, I’ve put together a quick time zone table so we can all tune in together. Region Local Time (April 17, 2026) China (CST) 7:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) 4:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) 7:00 AM British Summer Time (BST) 12:00 PM Central European Summer Time (CEST) 1:00 PM Japan Standard Time (JST) 8:00 PM Korea Standard Time (KST) 8:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) 9:00 PM I’m lucky because 7 PM CST is 7 PM for me? Actually, I live in a different time zone, so I’ll be waking up early or staying up late. But it’s worth it. I’ve already set a countdown timer on my phone. The reference article even had a live countdown, which I found super helpful. I wish more games did that. What I’m Most Excited About The livestream promises a lot. Here’s what I’m looking forward to: Two New Characters: Hiyuki and Denia I’m always excited for new playable characters. Hiyuki and Denia are the two new faces for 3.3. I’ve seen some leaks and speculation, but I’m waiting for the official reveal. I hope they bring something fresh to the meta. I’ve been saving my Astrites and forging pulls just for them. Their signature weapons will also be showcased, which means I need to decide whether to go for the characters or their weapons first. As a low-spender, I have to plan carefully. Second Anniversary Rewards 🎉 This is the big one. Wuthering Waves launched in 2024, so 2026 marks the second anniversary. Kuro Games has been generous in the past, but for the second anniversary, I’m hoping for free pulls, maybe a free 5-star character or weapon, and lots of resources. I’ve seen other gacha games give away amazing stuff on anniversaries, so my expectations are high. I really hope they announce a free copy of one of the new characters or a selector. Events and Rewards With the update overlapping the anniversary, there should be a ton of events. I enjoy the combat events and the puzzle ones. I hope they bring back some fan-favorite events with better rewards. Also, new Wuthering Waves codes will be dropped during the livestream. I always keep a notepad ready to redeem them quickly before they expire. Those codes usually give Astrites, Shell Credits, and upgrade materials. Quality of Life Changes QoL changes might not be flashy, but they matter. I’m hoping for improvements to the echo system, maybe a better way to manage artifacts, or faster farming. The devs have been listening to feedback, so I’m optimistic. Something like a loadout system for echoes would be a game-changer for me. My Personal Hype Level I’d say my hype is at an 8 out of 10 right now. I’m trying to keep my expectations in check, but it’s hard. The second anniversary only happens once. I’ve been playing daily, doing my dailies, and saving. I even took a day off work for the update launch, which is something I rarely do. I just hope the servers hold up. I’ll be watching the livestream with my guildmates in a voice call. We always react together. Last year’s anniversary stream was fun, but this one feels bigger. Maybe it’s because we know the game is growing. The community has been amazing, and I’m proud to be part of it.

My Two Needle Upgrades in Hollow Knight: Silksong
https://dealnesthq.com
At first, Hollow Knight: Silksong felt almost gentle to me. Most early mobs died in a few hits, and I thought my basic needle was more than enough. Then I crossed into the third biome, and suddenly every enemy had a deeper health bar, shields, or both. What was I supposed to do when my basic attacks barely scratched them? The answer was obvious: upgrade the needle. That decision sent me on a long journey through Haunted Bellhart, Shellwood, the Citadel, and the Whispering Vaults. Even in 2026, this remains one of the most important early power spikes I can recommend. The First Needle Upgrade and Pinmaster's Oil Wish Location I started by pushing toward Haunted Bellhart and Shellwood. From Shellwood, I picked up the Cling Grip ability, which opened up the path to the Widow boss fight. Beating Widow was not optional for me; it unlocked the town of Bellhart, and that town is where the first real needle upgrade waits. Once I stood near the bench, I noticed a few platforms leading upward. I took those steps, entered the second bell-shaped house, and looked for a three-pin icon on top. Inside, I met the Pinmaster. He gave me the first needle upgrade for free, then offered the Pinmaster's Oil wish for the next one. Was I going to turn that down? Of course not. Finding Pale Oil in the Citadel The Pinmaster told me the Pale Oil he needed was somewhere in the Citadel, but he also warned me that I would have to progress a lot before I could reach it. He was right. First, I had to reach the Cogwork Dancers boss fight and beat it. After that, I had to go halfway through the Cogwork Core area to enter the Whispering Vaults. This part felt like a test of patience. I kept heading right after entering the vaults, then jumped down once I entered the main area. From there, I kept going down until I saw my first exit to the left. I took that exit, moved left in the next room, and used Cling Grip to jump onto the higher platform. Above me, I saw another platform much higher up. There are two ways to make that upper platform. I could get the double jump from Mount Fay, or I could bait the big enemy sitting near the platform and use a downward strike on it to get lifted up. Since I had not yet visited Mount Fay, I chose the enemy-bounce method. It was risky, but it worked. Once I was on the upper platform, I entered the room on the left and found a small puzzle waiting for me. Solving the Whispering Vaults Box Puzzle This puzzle is all about hitting boxes in the right direction. If you are like me, you might hit one wrong box and wonder why the path disappeared. Here is exactly what I did: I moved to the left and hit the first box I saw from the left so that it went to the right. After that, I kept going left and wall jumped to the upper platform to hit another box to the right. Next, I jumped on the first box and went up the path in the middle of a bunch of boxes. When my way got blocked, I did an upward strike, and the boxes moved up, giving me more path. After climbing a bit more, I took the path on the right to reach the top, then hit the boxes on my left that blocked me. When those boxes blocked me again, I struck the boxes below me to open a path. Then I simply struck the boxes on my left after jumping, and I saw the way on the left. To open that way, I struck the final boxes blocking my path in an upward direction. Once I entered the room to my left, I found the Pale Oil and a lever that let me get back to Choral Chambers. That lever was a relief. I did not want to walk all the way back through the Cogwork Core. Returning to the Pinmaster I took the Pale Oil back to the Pinmaster in Bellhart. He used it to give me my second needle upgrade. Suddenly, the enemies that had felt like walls started to feel fair again. Boss fights were still hard, but my basic attacks were no longer tickling them. Was the whole detour worth it? Absolutely.

Hiyuki in Wuthering Waves: My 2026 Glacio Main DPS Build Diary
https://dealnesthq.com
I still remember the first time Hiyuki walked onto my screen in Wuthering Waves version 3.3. It was April 30, 2026, and I had saved Astrite like a squirrel hoarding nuts for winter. The limited banner finally opened, I pressed the wish button with sweaty thumbs, and when her sword shimmered into view, I did not just cheer — I scared my cat. That moment kicked off my favorite Glacio project of 2026: turning Hiyuki into a main DPS who hits like a freight train. Hiyuki is a 5-star Glacio Sword Resonator. She is built for main DPS duty, scales on ATK and Crit, and specializes in Resonance Liberation DMG. Her base stats are ATK 462, DEF 1112, and HP 10300. Those numbers might look modest on paper, but her kit is where the magic happens. She switches between two forms, builds power, and then drops a Resonance Liberation that can delete entire health bars. I learned quickly that if I ignored her form-swapping rhythm, I was just playing a very pretty sword user. When I respected it, she became a monster. My Build: Weapon, Echoes, and the Stuff That Matters ⚔️❄️ If you want to build Hiyuki in 2026, a good 5-star weapon and the right Echo set are non-negotiable. I grabbed her signature weapon, Frostburn, from the weapon banner after pulling her. Frostburn is the best-in-slot sword, and it makes her damage feel smooth like butter. If you do not have it, do not panic. Blazing Brilliance is the second-best option with high base ATK and 48.60% Crit DMG. Emerald of Genesis and Red Spring are also strong 5-star alternatives with similar stats and slightly different passives. For 4-star comfort, Feather Edge and Fable is Wisdom can hold the line until a better sword comes home. Slot Best Pick Why I Use It Weapon Frostburn Signature 5-star sword; best damage ceiling Weapon alternative Blazing Brilliance High base ATK and 48.60% Crit DMG Echo set Wishes of Quiet Snowfall 5-pc Glacio DMG plus Snowfall: +25% Crit Rate when Resonance Liberation DMG is used Main Echo Reminiscence: Threnodian – Voidborne Construct Deals damage when summoned and gives +12% Glacio and Resonance Liberation DMG bonus Team core Lynae + Chisa Massive buffs, healing, and Glacio Chafe synergy For Echoes, Wishes of Quiet Snowfall is the sonata set I farmed first. The 5-piece bonus boosts Glacio DMG and grants the Snowfall effect, increasing Crit Rate by 25% when Resonance Liberation DMG is used. Hiyuki lives for Resonance Liberation damage, so this set fits her like a tailored glove. Freezing Frost 5-pc is a decent temporary alternative if your Wishes of Quiet Snowfall rolls are being rude. For the main Echo, Reminiscence: Threnodian – Voidborne Construct is the dream. It deals damage when summoned and provides an extra 12% Glacio and Resonance Liberation DMG bonus. Lampylumen Myriad is a fine fallback if the new Echo refuses to drop. Stat priorities are simple: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Glacio DMG bonus, and ATK%. I spent a whole weekend rerolling Echoes, and I am not proud of the number of times I whispered please to my monitor. But when Hiyuki finally hit a clean Crit, the grind felt worth it. Kit and Rotation: Two Forms, One Big Sword 💥 Hiyuki’s kit is based on two forms. In Present Self, her normal state, she uses Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill to build Forte Gauge Dedication. When Dedication is full, enhanced Heavy Attack and Resonance Liberation become available. Using the enhanced Resonance Liberation transforms her into Forclaimed Self. That transformation is the signal to start cooking. In Forclaimed Self, Normal Attacks or Resonance Skill hits restore Forte Gauge Frostheart. With enough stacks, dodging lets her enter Iai Stance. Pressing Normal Attack in Iai Stance deals Basic Attack Iai damage, quick slashes that can ignore incoming damage. Every Basic Attack – Iai builds a stack of Whiteout Bitterfrost.

Silksong Bilewater Map Guide: Find Shakra, Buy the Map, Survive the Poison
https://dealnesthq.com
I still remember my first real trip into Bilewater in Hollow Knight: Silksong. I did not sip the water, obviously, because one sip would probably melt Hornet's mask from the inside out. Even in 2026, after countless route videos and patch tweaks, Bilewater remains one of the easiest places to get hopelessly lost in. The water is poison, the maggots are always hungry, and they chew through Hornet's Silk like termites in a wooden church. Fewer skills, fewer heals, more panic. If you are tired of wandering in circles, here is how I find the Bilewater map in Silksong and buy it from Shakra. Why the Bilewater map matters Bilewater is not a small side room. It is a large, ugly, sprawling area, and the poison does more than tick damage. The maggots in the water eat away at Hornet's Silk, which makes it harder to use skills or regenerate masks. That combination turns every wrong turn into a slow death spiral. A map is not a luxury here. It is a lantern in a cave of bad decisions. The catch is that Shakra will not sell you the Bilewater map right away. You can only buy it after obtaining the Faydown Cloak, the double jump ability. In the early game, Bilewater is only accessed from Sinner's Road, and without double jump, you can reach Shakra's area but not fully explore beyond it. Even if you somehow cheese your way up to her, the rest of Bilewater requires the Faydown Cloak to explore further and access the next area. Getting to Shakra step by step From the Bilewater entrance through Sinner's Road, go right across the cage and into the next room. Keep going right while avoiding the water. Some platforms are guarded by enemies, and some ropes will trigger traps if you cut them. Be careful. Treat those ropes like tripwires in a minefield: if you do not need to slash them, do not slash them. Stay in the same direction until you can jump onto a cage to go up to a higher platform. Jump across the platforms filled with traps, then go up by clinging to the walls. Keep climbing while avoiding the enemies until you eventually find a platform to the left. The door there leads to the next room. Use the cage as leverage to jump left and proceed ahead. The goal is to keep going left until you start seeing Shakra's signature rings. They are like breadcrumbs in a haunted forest, except these breadcrumbs hum with merchant energy. Eventually, Hornet will reach the end of the path, and above her will be a narrow tunnel full of Shakra's rings. One small problem early-game players might face is that they cannot reach the tunnel unless they possess the Faydown Cloak, aka the double jump. Even if somehow they managed to jump up, the rest of Bilewater requires that ability to explore further and access the next area. Open the Bellway and rest first Once the tunnel appears, do not rush straight up. First, go left and follow the sign to open the Bellway and rest on a bench in Bilewater. This is important. If you die later, and you probably will, that bench becomes your lifeline instead of a long, poisonous walk of shame. After that, use the double jump to cling to the tunnel's walls and go up. Double jump again and aim Clawline on the right side to land on the platform and avoid the spikes. Next, use the green bulbs to go higher and climb the platform to the right. Shakra will be waiting inside, humming her usual tune. Speak with her to purchase the Bilewater Map for 90 Rosaries in Hollow Knight: Silksong. What you get for 90 Rosaries Once you buy the map, you can finally explore the areas you missed and figure out how to move on to the next one. In 2026, with so many players deep into Silksong, the Bilewater map is still one of the best purchases you can make. It costs 90 Rosaries, but it saves hours of confused backtracking.

Wuthering Waves 3.2 Livestream: Sigrika, Events, and Everything to Expect
https://dealnesthq.com
The air around Solaris-3 grew thick with anticipation as March 13, 2026, approached. Kuro Games had finally pinned down the moment when its community would gather around screens: the Wuthering Waves 3.2 livestream would begin at 7:00 PM CST. From New Delhi to Auckland, Rovers cleared their schedules, eager to see what the next update held. The special broadcast was set to stream on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube and Twitch channels, a familiar ritual for a player base that had grown used to surprises. For weeks, rumors had swirled about a new playable character, and now the developers were ready to pull back the curtain. A Global Broadcast for Every Time Zone Because Wuthering Waves had become a worldwide phenomenon, the livestream schedule mattered as much as the content. The developers made sure no one had to guess when to tune in. The table below gathered the major regions, though players in other areas could rely on a countdown timer to know exactly when the show would start. Region Local Time New Delhi, India 4:30 PM IST on March 13, 2026 Tokyo, Japan 8:00 PM JST on March 13, 2026 California, USA 4:00 AM PST on March 13, 2026 Beijing, China 7:00 PM CST on March 13, 2026 Toronto, Canada 7:00 AM on March 13, 2026 Rome, Italy 12:00 PM CET on March 13, 2026 Melbourne, Australia 10:00 PM on March 13, 2026 Auckland, New Zealand 12:00 AM on March 14, 2026 The timing was a delicate dance. For some, it meant a morning coffee; for others, a late-night vigil. Yet the shared excitement remained the same. As the clock ticked down, fan forums filled with speculation, fan art, and hopeful wishlists. The livestream promised a complete overview of version 3.2, and Kuro Games rarely disappointed when it came to spectacle. Sigrika Steps into the Spotlight At the heart of the broadcast stood Sigrika, the character teased as the newest addition to the roster. Her silhouette had already sparked countless theories. Was she a damage dealer, a support, or something entirely new? The livestream was expected to answer those questions and more. Alongside Sigrika, her signature weapon would also be revealed, giving players a clearer picture of how she might fit into existing team compositions. For theorycrafters, this was the moment they had been waiting for. The story of Wuthering Waves had always been about discovery, and Sigrika appeared to be another piece of that puzzle. Her design, glimpsed in official teases, suggested a blend of elegance and power. Whether she would redefine the meta or offer a fresh playstyle, only the livestream would tell. Players who followed the game closely knew that new characters often came with dedicated events, story quests, and trial stages, all of which would likely be showcased during the broadcast. Events, Rewards, and Quality-of-Life Changes Beyond the character reveal, the Wuthering Waves 3.2 livestream was set to cover a generous slate of events and rewards. Kuro Games had a habit of showering players with resources during major updates, and 3.2 was unlikely to break that pattern. Viewers could expect limited-time challenges, login bonuses, and perhaps a few cooperative activities. The details would matter, especially for free-to-play players looking to stretch their Asterite budgets. New Wuthering Waves codes were another highlight. These redeemable codes typically offered Astrite, Shell Credits, and upgrade materials, and they often expired quickly. The livestream would likely drop several codes, so attentive viewers would need to act fast. In the past, missing a code meant waiting for the next update, a mistake few wanted to repeat. Quality-of-life changes also had a place in the announcement. Over the years, the developers had steadily improved daily routines, from echo management to traversal.

Silksong's Steel Soul Mode: The Konami Code That Unlocks Pure Suffering
https://dealnesthq.com
Let me be honest with you: I am not a masochist. At least, that is what I tell myself until I see a permadeath mode in a game I love. Then suddenly I am entering ancient cheat codes at 2 a.m., whispering 'this will be fine' to my monitor. That is exactly what happened when I learned about Hollow Knight: Silksong's Steel Soul mode. In the original Hollow Knight, Steel Soul was simple and cruel: die once, and your save is gone. Silksong brings that same energy back. Normally, you would have to beat the whole game first to unlock it. But there is a shortcut, and it is hiding in plain sight. The Konami Code Still Works, Because of Course It Does If you grew up anywhere near a controller, you know the Konami Code. Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. It is the cheat code equivalent of a handshake. In Silksong, you can input it while viewing the Extras menu. Do that, and you unlock Steel Soul mode immediately. No full playthrough required. No final boss victory lap. Just a forbidden ritual and a sudden sense of dread. PCGamer credited a Reddit user for proving the unlock existed. I love that. In 2026, with datamining and guide wikis everywhere, an old-school cheat code can still feel like a secret passed around a schoolyard. Except now the schoolyard is a subreddit, and the secret is 'enjoy permanent death, idiot.' What Steel Soul Actually Does Steel Soul is not a difficulty slider. It is a lifestyle choice. Here is the basic breakdown: Mode How you unlock it What happens when you die Normal Default You respawn and try again Steel Soul Beat the game, or enter the Konami Code in Extras Your run is over. Permanently. That is it. That is the whole pitch. One life. No continues. No second chances. If you fall to a random enemy in a room you have cleared ten times, that is the run. If you misjudge a jump, that is the run. If your cat walks across your keyboard during a boss fight, that is also the run, and your cat is now the villain of your personal story. Team Cherry Made Things Easier. Steel Soul Says No. After Silksong launched, plenty of players complained about the difficulty. Team Cherry listened. The first patch was designed to soften some early-game areas. Sandcarvers were supposed to deal less damage. The Moorwing and Sister Splinter bosses were meant to be a touch more merciful. Several other adjustments were aimed at making the opening hours less brutal. That is good news for most people. It is also completely irrelevant if you choose Steel Soul. You can take every kindness the patch offers and still get deleted by one bad dodge. The patch lowers the floor. Steel Soul removes the floor, the ceiling, and the safety net. If you want the gentler version, play normal mode. If you want to feel your pulse in your teeth, enter the code. Should You Do This on Your First Run? Probably not. Actually, definitely not. Steel Soul is not designed for a blind first playthrough. You do not know the boss patterns. You do not know which enemies explode. You do not know where the traps are. You do not know that one room is going to ask you to do a precision platforming sequence while something horrible breathes down your neck. But 'probably not' is not 'never.' Some people love the tension. Some people want every decision to matter. Some people think a normal save file is just a rehearsal. If you are that kind of player, the Konami Code is your enabler. It lets you skip the prerequisite and jump straight into the anxiety simulator. I tried it for about an hour. My hands were sweating. I played slower than I have ever played a game. I checked every corner twice. Then I walked into a room I thought was safe, got hit by something I never saw, and stared at the screen like it had personally betrayed me. Ten out of ten. Would suffer again. Does This Ruin the Reward? Maybe a little. Unlocking a mode by beating the ga

Silksong Act 1 Guide: My 2026 Optimized Route to The Last Judge
https://dealnesthq.com
I've been playing Hollow Knight: Silksong since it dropped, and let me tell you, Act 1 is no walk in the park. It's 2026 now, and while the game has been out for a hot minute, newcomers are still getting tangled up in Pharloom's web. I've run this route a dozen times, so I'm gonna break down the most efficient path to collect every map, unlock every Bellway, grab all mandatory abilities, and beat every required boss. No fluff, just the good stuff. Buckle up, because we're going from Moss Grotto to The Last Judge in one smooth ride. Part 1: Moss Grotto to The Marrow You start off getting tossed off a bridge—classic Hornet luck. After landing in Moss Grotto, just follow the linear path until you hit a Bench. Rest up, then head left to face the Moss Mother. She's not too tough, but if you're still getting used to Hornet's moveset compared to the Knight, she might catch you off guard. I got wrecked a couple times, not gonna lie. Once she's down, continue left, jump into the next room to meet the Chapel Maiden, then head right into Bone Bottom. In Bone Bottom, find the building with three chevrons—that's a Bellway. You can't fast travel yet, but discovering it saves you a headache later. Continue right into The Marrow, meet Sherma, jump around the Bone Gate, beat a quick gauntlet, and drop down to open a shortcut. Keep going right, take the ceiling exit in the big room, and eventually you'll run into Shakra, the cartographer. Buy the Mosslands and Marrow maps, plus the Quill and Compass. Trust me, you want these. From Shakra, go left, jump up, and take the ceiling exit. Continue left and enter the top-left exit back in Moss Grotto. You'll find a Weaver statue—use Bind to absorb the Silkspear ability. Then head right, take the bottom-right exit, and use Silkspear to break the Bell Beast free. Beat it to unlock the Marrow Bellway and fast travel. Easy peasy. Part 2: Deep Docks From the Marrow Bellway, go all the way right, drop down the tall room, and cross the wide-open room to reach Deep Docks. Find Shakra again—she'll sell you the Deep Docks map. Right next to her is the Deep Docks Bellway. Go right, drop down, and meet the Forge Daughter. She turns Craftmetal into Tools, so she's worth knowing. Now for the Swift Step ability: from the Forge Daughter, go back to Shakra's room, head up and left, travel up, then right for three rooms. Drop down, loop left, and find another Weaver Statue. Bind to get Swift Step—this lets Hornet dodge into a sprint. From there, go left, drop into Shakra's room, then go all the way right. Use Swift Step in mid-air to reach a platform, then sprint and jump to hit a lever. That opens the gate to Lace's boss room. Lace is a skill check, but once you beat her, head right into Far Fields. Part 3: Far Fields After Lace, go right through several rooms until you find a room with upward air vents. Look for two exits on the right to find Shakra (Far Fields map) and the Far Fields Bellway. From the Bellway, drop down, take the bottom-right exit, and keep going right past an automaton in the background. Navigate around the floating building to meet the Seamstress. She gives you the Flexile Spines quest—kill Hoker enemies (the flying ones with side spikes) and collect 25 spines. Return to her for the Drifter's Cloak. With the cloak, exit the room and you'll bump into the Fourth Chorus—that automaton is now a boss. Beat it, then take the left exit and float upward. Some platforms have explosive rocks; hit them and get away to create new air vents. Near the top, go right into Pilgrim's Rest, then use the cloak to go up and eventually break through the ceiling into Greymoor. Part 4: Greymoor to Shellwood In Greymoor, head right to find Shakra and buy the map. Then go all the way left to a large building with a locked door—platform around to the left to enter the Halfway Home.

Sequels That Took Forever and Somehow Nailed It
https://dealnesthq.com
Hi, my name is a person who has watched too many teaser trailers, and I have a problem: I believe release dates are suggestions. Sometimes games get announced way too early. A flashy logo appears at Nintendo Direct, The Game Awards, Gamescom, or the late, great E3, and suddenly I am emotionally invested in a project that will not be playable until my hairline has its own opinion. Marvel's Wolverine? Teased. Kingdom Hearts 4? Teased. The next Mass Effect? Teased, presumably, while we all stare at a nebula and pretend that counts as news. Who among us has not rewatched a 2021 trailer in 2026 and whispered, any day now, buddy? But here is the thing: when a long-awaited sequel finally arrives and it is actually good, the wait can feel like a weird badge of honor. In 2026, we have plenty of evidence that patience sometimes pays off, and also plenty of evidence that I should maybe touch grass between announcements. Let us look at the sequels that made the suffering worth it. Hollow Knight: Silksong: Six Years, One Very Fast Bug Silksong was the poster child for waiting. Six years of development, endless memes, and a community that turned clown makeup into a lifestyle. But when it finally arrived, the early impressions were positive, and suddenly everyone was sprinting through the game to avoid spoilers like it was a race against the internet itself. Is it hard? Yes. Did some people debate the difficulty until their keyboards melted? Also yes. But the art style is a step up from the original, with brighter colors and more detailed animations. Hornet moves faster and more fluidly than The Knight, and the game is bigger. As a Metroidvania fan, I can confirm that this is the good kind of waiting: the kind where the sequel does not just repeat the first game but builds a shinier, scarier, more acrobatic throne on top of it. Red Dead Redemption 2: Eight Years to Become a Cowboy Red Dead Redemption 2 satisfied fans who had been craving a sequel since 2010. Eight years was a long time, but Rockstar used that time to make a world so big and detailed that I once spent twenty minutes watching Arthur Morgan brush a horse. The gameplay was more complex, the story was intense and heartfelt, and player choice could shape the experience. You could play it as a typical Rockstar story, or you could treat it as a Wild West simulator and live out your best cowboy days. Who needs therapy when you have a camp full of sad outlaws and a debt to society? Alan Wake 2: Thirteen Years of Flashlight Therapy Alan Wake came out in 2010, and Alan Wake 2 did not arrive until 2023. That is a long time to keep a flashlight charged. The game is short, but it is packed with great moments, music plays a big role like in many Remedy games, and the horror elements are genuinely terrifying in the dark. The gameplay is more open than fans expected, especially after the first game. The cliffhanger ending is brutal, but hopefully we will not wait another thirteen years for answers. I am not sure my nerves can handle another decade of shadowy trees. Baldur's Gate 3: The Return Nobody Thought Was Possible Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear was a 2016 expansion to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, which was a 2012 release. It was the last entry before Baldur's Gate 3 fully launched in 2023, but realistically fans had been waiting since 2000, when the second mainline game released. No one thought a sequel was possible, because many old developers had moved on. Then the franchise returned, grabbed a ridiculous amount of attention, and earned it. It was a groundbreaking return to form for CRPGs, and I say that as someone who rolled a natural 1 on patience. Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth: A Trilogy of Teases Final Fantasy 7 blew the lid off the PS1 in 1997. When Square Enix showed a tech demo of the opening on PS3 in 2005, fans got excited.

Hollow Knight: Silksong – Putrified Ducts Route, Loot, and Survival Guide
https://dealnesthq.com
In 2026, Hollow Knight: Silksong players are still mapping every corner of Pharloom, and the Putrified Ducts remains one of the most elusive optional regions. It is among the couple of tricky areas that are only accessed through a specific route, and the path is not in plain sight. Hornet must destroy an obstacle to reveal the entrance, which makes the journey feel like a secret within a secret. Although reaching the Putrified Ducts can be time-consuming, the area contains many points of interest that make the trip worthwhile. The Main Route Begins in Memorium The Putrified Ducts is mainly available from the Memorium area in Hollow Knight: Silksong. A lower part can be accessed from Bilewater, but that small section does not connect to the rest of the region. What players will find there is the Broodfeast quest and the Key of Apostate. For the full experience, the Memorium approach is required. To start, players should enter Memorium by heading north from the Grand Bellway, all the way to the top. Next, they must use the double jump, which is a necessity, to climb the platform and access the area. In Memorium, Hornet should jump to the platform containing the lore board, then hop to the one above it. Hornet will arrive at the second level of the area, and the path will split. Through the Enemy Corridor Proceeding right leads to an area infested with enemies in all shapes and forms. Players must fight the small and big spiders, then keep running to stumble upon a mini-boss near the end of the path. The mini-boss can be fought or ignored completely to quickly go through the door. After that, players should look down and carefully descend the platforms to reach the bottom while avoiding the enemies that roll around. This section rewards patience more than aggression. Go through the door to the right with the hanging sign to enter a seemingly empty room. Walk inside further and look up to find a narrow tunnel. Double jump and Clawline upward, then proceed forward to land on a bridge. At the end of the bridge is a tall climbable wall. Using a combination of skills like cling grip and double jump is essential. Between the two walls is an obstacle that can be destroyed. Carefully stick Hornet to the wall and try to destroy the rocks to reveal a path. Head right and enter the dimly lit tunnel. Proceed further without touching the spikes, and players will eventually reach the Putrified Ducts area. It is very similar to Bilewater, especially the maggot-filled swamp that decreases Hornet's silk. Luckily, there is an item in this area that can protect Hornet from this water for a short period of time. Additionally, there is an NPC that will help reveal the locations of the fleas that were missed while exploring Pharloom. Route Summary Table Step Location Required Ability or Item Notes 1 Grand Bellway Double jump Head north to the top and climb into Memorium 2 Memorium Double jump Jump to the lore board platform, then to the one above 3 Split path Combat or evasion Proceed right into the enemy-infested corridor 4 Mini-boss room Optional fight The mini-boss can be skipped to reach the door faster 5 Descending platforms Careful movement Avoid the rolling enemies below 6 Empty room Clawline and double jump Look up for the narrow tunnel 7 Bridge and wall Cling grip and double jump Destroy the obstacle between the walls 8 Dim tunnel Spike avoidance Reach the Putrified Ducts 9 Putrified Ducts Silk protection item The swamp drains silk; the item grants temporary safety 10 Lower Bilewater section Broodfeast quest and Key of Apostate This part is accessible separately from Bilewater Survival and Exploration Tips The Putrified Ducts is not a place for careless exploration. The maggot-filled swamp is one of the most punishing environmental hazards in the region because it steadily decreases Hornet's silk.

My Steel Soul Mode Survival Guide for Hollow Knight: Silksong in 2026
https://dealnesthq.com
I still remember my first Steel Soul Mode run in Hollow Knight: Silksong. It was early 2026, and I thought I knew every corner of Pharloom. Then permadeath reminded me that confidence is a trap. One bad dodge, one careless pogo, and everything I built was gone. I sat there, staring at the screen... and then I started again. That loop is brutal, but it is also why I keep coming back. If you are thinking about stepping into Steel Soul Mode, let me share what I have learned. What Is Steel Soul Mode? Steel Soul Mode is Hollow Knight: Silksong's hardest test. It features permadeath, so once you die, you restart the entire game. Every enemy and boss you defeated comes back. But this mode does not just recycle the base experience. Bosses can gain new attack patterns. The Moorwing, for example, might push into a fourth or fifth phase that throws even more attacks at you. Enemies may also appear in places you would never expect, forcing you to rethink old routes and old strategies. That unpredictability makes every run feel unique. It also makes every mistake feel permanent. 💀 How To Unlock Steel Soul Mode You can unlock Steel Soul Mode in two ways. The straightforward method is to simply play Hollow Knight: Silksong and beat it. The second method is a hidden code, and it is much faster. On the main menu, go to the Extras option. Once you are in the Extras menu, press the following buttons on your controller's D-pad: Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. The screen should flash white for a moment. That flash is your signal that the game registered the code. Afterward, when you start a new game, you will see Steel Soul Mode listed under Classic Mode. Tips To Complete Steel Soul Mode When you combine a harder playstyle with permadeath, the whole game can feel impossible. Trust me, the first few hours will humble you. But with the right approach, Steel Soul Mode becomes a tense, thrilling dance instead of a wall. Acquire The Crest Of The Reaper Crests change how Hornet attacks and moves, and some let you equip more tools and items. The Crest of the Reaper is one of the best early picks for Steel Soul Mode because it helps you generate more Silk when you attack enemies. You can find it early in the Greymoor region. It sits north of the Moorwing boss fight and west of the Halfway House. Before you claim it, you need to survive a few waves of enemies. Whenever you heal, the Crest of the Reaper causes enemies to drop extra Silk orbs. You can collect those orbs by walking or jumping into them. That means you refill your Silk gauge much faster, which lets you heal or use skills more often. To get the most from this Crest, you might need to stay on the attack. As you hit enemies and successfully heal yourself, you build Silk significantly quicker. It rewards aggression, but only controlled aggression. Attempt Pogo Attacks Pogo attacks mean attacking downward while you are in the air. If you land those downward slashes, Hornet does a mini bounce that helps her avoid most attacks. When you time the bounce toward a nearby enemy, you can chain another Pogo attack and get a second bounce. Those bounces change the flow of a fight. You become more mobile, harder to hit, and better able to control space. In Steel Soul Mode, where one mistake ends the run, that mobility is priceless. 🗡️ Pick Your Battles Benches are absent in Steel Soul Mode, so respawning is not an option. That makes every fight a risk. It would be smart to be more selective about what you fight. Not every enemy needs to be attacked. You can avoid many of them entirely. Attack only when it is necessary. For example, if you are low on Silk and need to heal, you can quickly strike a few enemies to regain the resource. By prioritizing your battles, you save strength for the fights that matter. Instead of wasting Silk on smaller enemies, you keep a safety net for th

Beyond Shellwood: Hornet's Road to the Citadel in Silksong
https://dealnesthq.com
The canopy of Shellwood had finally gone quiet. Hornet stood among the hanging vines with a new trick woven into her limbs — the Cling Grip, the wall-clinging skill that every traveler in Pharloom eventually needs and that no one can afford to skip. Shellwood is not an optional detour; it is a gate, and the gate has just swung open. So the question that follows is a natural one, the same question that has sent thousands of players scrolling through forums in 2026: what now? Where does the pilgrimage go once the trees stop talking? The answer is not east, and it is not deeper into the woods. It is back toward the people Hornet left behind — specifically, toward the haunted settlement of Bellhart. First, Break the Curse in Bellhart 🕸️ Before any gate in the Citadel will acknowledge her, Hornet needs a voice that can answer the Citadel's own music. That voice comes from the Needolin , and the Needolin can only be earned by lifting the curse that has settled over Bellhart. Until that curse breaks, the road ahead is simply a wall with scenery painted on it. This is why the sequence matters so much: Cling Grip opens Shellwood, and Bellhart opens everything after it. Once the Needolin hums in her grasp, the map changes shape. Songs become doors. Ledges become invitations. The Shortcut Out of Shellwood 🧭 Most travelers assume they must crawl all the way back through Bone Bottom and start the western trek from scratch. There is a better way, and it hides in plain sight. Hornet should move toward the bench that links Shellwood to Bone Bottom — but she should not drop down to it. Just before reaching that bench, she needs to look up . A passage hangs overhead, and the freshly acquired wall jump is the key to it. Climbing that shaft unlocks a bench sitting directly beside the Shellwood Bellway, which turns a long walk into a short hop. From that bench, the route unfolds like this: Step Action Reward 1 Run left through the large open room until an upward path appears Progress toward the Steps 2 Climb and locate the bench A safe place to rest and save 3 Head left, then up, into the tall vertical chamber Access to the eastern rooms 4 Enter the right-hand room from the vertical area Shakra's location Finding Shakra and the Blasted Steps Map 🗺️ The vertical chamber is the landmark to watch for. Once Hornet reaches it, she should slip into the room on the right, where the wandering merchant Shakra waits. Shakra sells the Blasted Steps map , and buying it is not a luxury — the region is a maze of wind, sand, and crumbling stone, and going in blind is how runs end. There is a simple tell for whether the right room has been found: Shakra's signature rings begin appearing on the ground, scattered like coins from a pocket. With the map in hand, the next objective is vertical. Hornet must climb the tall chamber until she finds the Bellway station of the Blasted Steps . There are two ways up — straight from Shakra's room, or out the door and up from the corridor beyond — and both funnel to the same platform. It is worth resting at the bench, unlocking the fast-travel point, and only then pressing east. The Grand Gate and the Last Judge ⚖️ East of the Bellway, the path narrows and the wind sharpens until Hornet arrives at the Grand Gate itself. Here the Needolin proves its worth: the gate does not open to strength or speed, only to song. This is precisely why the Bellhart curse could never be postponed. And then the gate delivers its price. A boss encounter with the Last Judge begins, a fight that punishes anyone who wandered in without a nearby respawn point. That is the quiet reason the bench by the Grand Gate matters so much — losing the duel and waking up half a region away is a far crueler punishment than the fight itself.

Silksong: How I Got the Putrified Ducts Map for Free
https://dealnesthq.com
In the vast, labyrinthine kingdom of Pharloom, a map is more than a tool—it's a lifeline. I've spent countless hours wandering through Hollow Knight: Silksong, and I've learned that every Rosary counts. So when I discovered that the Putrified Ducts map could be acquired for free, I dropped everything to track it down. Here's how I did it, step by step, so you can save your Rosaries for more important things—like upgrades and fast travel. Unlike most maps in Silksong, which require you to find a mapmaker and pay a hefty sum, the Putrified Ducts map is simply sitting on a table. No transaction, no haggling. Just a free map waiting to be claimed. But getting there is no walk in the park. The area is accessible only from the Memorium, not from Bilewater as some might think. The top part of the Putrified Ducts is hidden behind a secret path, and if you're not careful, you'll miss it entirely. Start at the Memorium entrance and head up to the first door on your right. Proceed forward, cutting down any enemies in your path. Soon, you'll drop down near a door marked with a sign. Enter it and perform a double jump to access a secret path. This leads you to a large bridge. Here, you'll need to use your Clawline to the left, double jump, then Clawline to the right, and finally climb the wall. Look for a breakable part—destroy it and avoid the spikes inside as you run to the right. This brings you to the Putrified Ducts. Step Action 1 Start at Memorium entrance, go up to first door on right 2 Proceed past enemies, drop down near door with sign 3 Enter, double jump into secret path to large bridge 4 Use Clawline left, double jump, Clawline right, climb wall 5 Destroy breakable part, avoid spikes, run right to Putrified Ducts 6 Jump down from bridge, avoid swamp with maggots 7 Proceed right across platforms, jump to higher one, continue to door 8 Enter next room, glide down to Bellway sign, pay Rosaries for fast-travel/bench 9 Return outside, glide down to left room 10 Walk to end, jump up to bait veins, get carried up, break free 11 Approach table, take Putrified Ducts map for free Once you're in the Putrified Ducts, jump down from the bridge, but beware of the swamp infested with maggots. Slowly proceed right across the platforms until you can jump to a higher one. Keep moving in the same direction, fighting or avoiding enemies, until you reach a door. Hornet can reach this door from either a lower or higher path, but I found the higher one to be safer. The lower path is filled with annoying flying enemies that have ranged attacks, plus those veins that trap you. It's also closer to the swamp, so one misstep and you'll lose silk. Before I continue, let me emphasize how crucial the Clawline is. Without it, you can't traverse the gap on the bridge. Similarly, the double jump is mandatory for reaching the secret path and for some platforming sections. So if you're attempting this early, make sure you have these abilities. I learned this the hard way when I first tried without the Clawline—let's just say it didn't end well. The swamp with maggots is particularly nasty. Those little critters can swarm you and drain your health quickly. I recommend taking them out from a distance if possible, or just sprinting past them. The platforms are your friend; stay on them and avoid falling into the muck. Upon entering the next room, glide down slowly until you see the Bellway sign. Head inside and pay some Rosaries to unlock fast travel and a bench to rest. This is a crucial checkpoint. Once you're done, return outside and glide the rest of the way down to enter the left room. Walk until the end and jump up to bait the veins. This will trap Hornet and effortlessly carry her up without taking any damage. Before the plant at the top consumes her, smash the attack button to break free and land on the floor. Approach the table at the end and take the Putri

Silksong Magnetite Dice: How I Got It and Why It Matters
https://dealnesthq.com
As a longtime Hollow Knight fan who has been deep in Silksong’s 2026 meta, I can tell you that the Magnetite Dice is one of those tools that sounds like a joke until it saves your run. 🎲 It is a Yellow Tool, and its in-game description claims it brings luck to the wearer. After testing it across dozens of boss attempts, I can confirm that description is vague for a reason: the Dice gives you a small chance to completely ignore an attack that would have damaged you. That is not a guarantee. It is more like a parachute that opens only when the wind feels like it. What the Magnetite Dice Actually Does Let me be blunt: the Magnetite Dice is not a god-mode button. It is a probability trinket. When equipped, there is a low chance that an incoming hit will deal zero damage. You might survive a fatal blow one moment and then eat a full combo the next. The emphasis is on low chance . If you are expecting consistent defense, you will be disappointed. If you are expecting a tiny, chaotic edge in a boss fight, you will get exactly that. Because it is a Yellow Tool, it competes with a surprisingly shallow pool of offensive options in that color. For many builds, that makes the Magnetite Dice a must-equip for boss fights and elite enemy encounters. I slot it whenever I know a single mistake could end a long attempt. Where to Find Lumble the Lucky To get the Magnetite Dice the honest way, I made my way to the Blasted Steps. You can access this area after acquiring the Wall Jump ability in Shellwood and then heading to the top-left part of the map. Once inside, I worked through the platforming section and climbed until I reached the Bellway Station. After interacting with the bench, I headed left and down, where a passage leads to Lumble the Lucky. Lumble is a gambler. He asks you to play a game of dice with him. The game is purely random. A win grants you 4 Rosaries, while a loss sets you back 4 Rosaries. The key to winning the Tool is to play and win 40 Rosaries from Lumble. The catch is that you need ten net wins, and every loss pushes you backward. If you rely on raw luck, this can take up to an hour. The Save-Scum Method That Actually Works Luckily, there is a way to cheese through this while also ensuring you win. I used it, and it turned a frustrating hour into a manageable ritual. First, make sure you have rested at the nearby bench. Play with Lumble until you have a 16–20 Rosary lead. Once you have that lead, simply Save and Quit. You will be teleported back to the bench. Go back to Lumble. If you lose three times consecutively, quit the game without saving. This returns you to that 16–20 Rosary mark. Keep saving your progress once every 12 Rosaries gained. Repeat until the Dice is yours. This method is like save-scumming a casino where the dealer is a bug with a death wish. It is not elegant, but it works. The Easier Act 1 Method There is a second method to acquire the Dice, and it is far less stressful. It involves completing the first Act and reaching the Coral Chambers inside the Citadel. Once you do that, you can revisit Lumble the Lucky only to find him lying dead. You can interact with the item near him, which is the Dice. No gambling, no save-scumming, no RNG. Just a sad discovery and a free Tool. If you are already past Act 1, this is the route I recommend. If you are still early and want the Dice before a difficult boss, the Lumble method is your only option. Why the Magnetite Dice Matters in Combat The Magnetite Dice’s description states that it is believed to bring luck to the wearer. Even though this description can be a little vague, equipping it and trying it in combat will give you some idea of what it does. The tool makes it so that there is a small chance that an attack that would hit and deal damage to you will not deal any damage. You might think this tool is overpowered, but the emphasis should be on the low

Hollow Knight: Silksong Best Tools: My Top Picks for Every Build in 2026
https://dealnesthq.com
I have been neck-deep in Hollow Knight: Silksong since launch, and even in 2026, after all the patches, route tech, and community discoveries, the right Tool loadout still separates a clean run from a total rage-quit spiral. There are over 65 different Tool items in the game, split into red, white, blue, and yellow categories. Red Tools usually give Hornet combat skills or extra abilities, white Tools do similar things but spend Silk and do not take up slots, while blue and yellow Tools lean into passive combat and exploration bonuses. You can only equip a handful at once, so every slot matters. No cap. Below are the Tools I keep coming back to in 2026. Some are pure comfort picks, some are boss-melting monsters, and a few are the difference between a Steel Soul heartbreak and a victory lap. ⚔️ My Top Red Tools Cogfly Cogfly is a Red Tool that summons a small bug companion to fight alongside you. It sounds simple, but it is absolutely clutch in larger battles because the Cogfly can smack foes you cannot pay attention to. Having one or more Cogflies at your side evens the odds in crowded arenas and gives you a numbers advantage in boss fights. Until they are damaged, Cogflies do not reset when you sit on a bench, which makes them one of the best long-lasting companions in the game. If you like playing with a buddy, this is your jam. Flea Brew Flea Brew is an incredibly strong Tool for the immediate buff it provides when consumed. It increases your attack speed and movement for a short time, letting you dodge more attacks, land extra strikes, and escape dangerous situations before they snowball. Like other Red Tools, you can equip multiple uses of Flea Brew before needing to reset by resting. In prolonged battles, especially against sturdier bosses or wave-based arenas, that continuous speed boost is worth its weight in rosaries. Shell Satchel On the surface, Shell Satchel does not look flashy, but if you rely on Red Tools, it is one of the best items for Hornet. It almost doubles the number of projectiles, caltrops, Cogflies, or other Red Tools at your disposal. That means more Flea Brew uses, more Silkshot ranged attacks, more Tacks traps, and more chances to turn a fight in your favor. Regardless of your playstyle, having extra Red Tool opportunities is huge in longer encounters. Plasmium Phial Plasmium Phial works like Flea Brew, but instead of speed, it gives you vitality. Activating this Tool grants an extra bar of life beyond your normal maximum. That means more hits before you die and more chances to survive tough fights. Extra health is always welcome, no matter your build, and in 2026's harder challenge runs, it remains a top-tier safety net. Longclaw Even after upgrading the Needle, Hornet can struggle to hit flying targets or highly mobile opponents. Longclaw fixes that by extending the range of each strike, letting you hit enemies from further away. It helps preserve projectiles for other foes and makes it easier to use far-off enemies as stepping stones for exploration. Longclaw is useful outside combat, but its battle benefits make it incredibly versatile for almost any build. Spool Extender Spool Extender is similar to Plasmium Phial, but it lets you store extra Silk rather than gain extra life. Since Silk can be converted into health, this Tool gives you more ways to use the game's most valued resource. It only becomes stronger as you unlock more Silk-costing abilities, making it a long-lasting pick for your whole adventure. Even without Silk abilities, a bigger resource pool means more healing in difficult encounters. Barbed Bracelet Barbed Bracelet is only for the boldest wanderers. It bolsters your damage to absurd levels, but it also increases how much damage you take. This risky Tool can make bosses fall in half the hits, but only if you are experienced enough to dodge attacks expertly.

Silksong Guide: Reach High Halls and Grab the Map Without Losing Your Mind
https://dealnesthq.com
So you've clawed your way into the Citadel in Hollow Knight: Silksong , and now you're staring up at High Halls like it's the world's most hostile apartment building. Well, it is. The Citadel is packed with platforming sections that will punish you for missing a single jump, and enemies that chase you like you owe them money. High Halls, accessible soon after leaving the Underworks, is no exception. But don't worry—this guide will walk you through the route, the tricks, and the map location. And yes, there will be spikes. So many spikes. First, a quick reality check: you need the Clawline ability. Without it, you're just a bug with a needle and a bad attitude. Once you have Clawline, your first task is to find and defeat the Cogwork Dancers boss. Yes, those mechanical ballet nightmares. After they're scrap metal, head down and left to reach the top left section of the Coral Chambers . There, you'll spot a Bench directly below a few grapple points. Sit on it. Seriously, sit on it. You'll thank yourself later. From the Bench, start making your way up using Clawline. The first section is relatively simple—just go right and ignore the enemies. Why fight when you can run? Use your dash to zip past them if you're feeling fancy. When you reach the grapple wheel, harpoon onto a hook and wait for it to rotate upward. Then use your abilities to slip through the top right passage. More enemies? Ignore them again. Dash over their heads like the graceful spider you are. Now the real fun begins. You'll enter a room with spikes on the bottom and another grapple wheel. This time, ignore the wheel . Instead, float downwards, carefully avoiding the spikes. You'll see a grapple on your right—Clawline to it immediately, or you'll become a Hornet kebab. Once you're holding on, wait a few seconds. The spikes below you will retract. Then float down. You'll have to do this little dance again. After that, you'll spot an enemy. Avoid it by going further down. Easy, right? Be careful in the next section. You have to move Hornet while floating to avoid spikes, and then harpoon one last time. This is where many players rage-quit. But you're better than that, aren't you? After the final harpoon, go further down. When you see the sign of a Ventrica Station on your right, head through the passage. You'll come across a Bench. Interact with the Station if you have Rosaries—but make sure you have 70 remaining , because there's a machine on the right that sells the map for High Halls. Yes, you have to pay for the privilege of knowing where you are. Capitalism at its finest. Here's a quick summary table for the visual learners: Step Action Tip 1 Get Clawline, defeat Cogwork Dancers Don't skip the Bench 2 Go up from Coral Chambers Bench Ignore enemies, dash past 3 First grapple wheel Wait for rotation, go top right 4 Second room with spikes Ignore wheel, float down, Clawline right 5 Wait on grapple Spikes retract, then float down 6 Repeat, avoid enemy Go further down 7 Final floating section Move Hornet mid-air, harpoon 8 Reach Ventrica Station Need 70 Rosaries for map Why bother with High Halls at all? Because it's there. Also, it's packed with lore, secrets, and a few shiny things that completionists crave. In 2026, players are still debating whether High Halls is harder than the rest of the Citadel. (Spoiler: it is.) But the view from the top? Worth every spike. The enemies in the Citadel are relentless. They'll chase you across rooms, through tunnels, and into your dreams. But here's a secret: most of them are slow enough to outrun. Use your dash, use your Clawline, and never look back. If you do get hit, don't panic. Hornet can take a few hits. Just don't fall on spikes. Spikes don't care about your feelings. Rosaries are the currency of Pharloom. If you're broke, you might need to farm some before attempting this route. Or just sell you

How to Complete the Fine Pins Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong
https://dealnesthq.com
In the intricate, shadow-draped realm of Hollow Knight: Silksong, wishes are more than mere side quests; they are threads that pull players deeper into the game's hidden corners. Among these, the Fine Pins wish offers a generous payout of Rosaries 🏆, but it demands a trek across the Choral Chambers. As of 2026, this guide remains the definitive resource for hunters seeking to finish the task without wasting hours. The key lies in knowing exactly which enemies to hunt and where they lurk. Prerequisites for the Fine Pins Wish: Defeat the Last Judge Navigate the Underworks Unlock the Choral Chambers Free the First Shrine (clear silk around the bell) Unlock Songclave Accept the wish from the wish board To even receive the Fine Pins wish, players must have progressed significantly. The quest becomes available only after unlocking the Choral Chambers, which itself requires defeating the Last Judge and navigating the Underworks. Once the Choral Chambers are accessible, the path continues. Players must climb the right side of the biome to reach the next boss arena. However, before stepping into that fight, there is a crucial detour: freeing the First Shrine by clearing the silk around the bell located at the top right of the biome. This action unlocks the Songclave area, a hub where the wish board resides. From that board, the Fine Pins wish can be accepted. Once the wish is active, the real hunt begins. The objective is straightforward: collect Fine Pins by defeating two specific enemy types in the Choral Chambers—Reed and Choristor. These foes are not bosses, but they are scattered throughout the biome. Finding them can feel like trying to isolate a single instrument in a chaotic orchestra; the environment is noisy with other enemies, but once you recognize their distinct silhouettes, they become easier to spot. ⚔️ The Reed is a flying creature that primarily relies on melee attacks, yet it can also throw its pin as a projectile. More annoyingly, it sometimes parries your attacks and launches a swift counter. To handle a Reed, stay mobile and strike after it commits to an attack or a failed parry. The Choristor, by contrast, resembles a knight and stays grounded. It mixes melee and ranged attacks, and it can leap toward your location while spinning to deal damage. Dodging its spin and punishing the recovery window is the safest approach. Enemy Appearance Combat Behavior How to Counter Reed Flying creature Melee attacks, can throw its pin, occasionally parries and counterattacks Stay mobile, attack after it throws or parries Choristor Knight-like, ground-based Melee and ranged attacks, can jump and spin Keep distance, dodge the spin, punish recovery Both enemies wield a pin, and when defeated, they have a chance to drop a Fine Pin. This drop is not guaranteed, so players may need to eliminate several of each. The telltale sign of a drop is a distinct white glow emanating from the enemy's body as it falls to the ground. Chasing that glow is akin to following a will-o'-the-wisp through a marsh—brief, beautiful, and easy to lose if you are not quick. Grab it before it disappears. 💡 For efficient farming, focus on areas with high concentrations of Reed and Choristor. The Choral Chambers have several rooms where these enemies respawn after resting at a bench. A good strategy is to clear a room, return to the nearest bench, and repeat. Because the drop rate is probabilistic, patience is key. The Fine Pins wish is a double-edged sword: it promises a pile of Rosaries, but demands the persistence of a gold panner sifting through riverbed pebbles. Still, the reward is worth it, especially for players saving up for expensive upgrades or tools. It is also worth noting that the Fine Pins wish does not require a specific number of pins to be turned in—it simply asks for a certain quantity, typically a handful.

Silksong's Simple Keys and Locked Doors: A 2026 Guide to Rosaries, NPCs, and Secrets
https://dealnesthq.com
In 2026, Hollow Knight: Silksong continues to be a labyrinthine metroidvania where backtracking is not a chore but a conversation with earlier failure. Among its most intriguing optional pursuits are the four Simple Keys, items scattered across the first two Acts. These keys do not advance the critical path; instead, they function like a locksmith's skeleton key for the game's hidden narratives, opening doors that yield NPC storylines, new routes, and substantial Rosary caches. For players who measure progress in map percentage and lore fragments, locating every Simple Key remains a rite of passage. The following account, compiled from community exploration and in-game discovery, details where each key rests and what each lock reveals. The Four Simple Keys Key Location Acquisition Cost or Requirement 1 Bone Bottom Shop Purchase from the shopkeeper beside the Wish Board 500 Rosaries 2 Sinner's Road Defeat the Roachkeeper after a climbing puzzle near the top Access to Sinner's Road above Halfway Home in Greymoor 3 Sands of Karak Found on a bench beside a poor bug Requires Hornet's grappling hook in Act 2; reach via Blasted Steps west 4 Jubilana the Merchant Purchase from Jubilana at the First Shrine in the Citadel Complete Wish "The Wandering Merchant"; 650 Rosaries The first key is the most straightforward, yet it demands patience. In Bone Bottom, the shopkeeper next to the Wish Board offers the Simple Key for 500 Rosaries. That price is a small fortune in the early hours, when every Rosary feels like a bead of sweat. Players who prioritize the key must delay other purchases, turning the shop into a study in opportunity cost. The second key hides in Sinner's Road, a vertical gauntlet above Halfway Home in Greymoor. After reaching the upper reaches and potentially repairing the bench, adventurers face a compact climbing puzzle. At its summit waits a Roachkeeper. Killing this foe drops the key, a reward that feels less like a drop and more like a toll collected by a hostile gatekeeper. The third key resides in the Sands of Karak, a region unlocked after obtaining Hornet's grappling hook in Act 2. Access comes through the Blasted Steps on the far west of the map. The Sands themselves are a traversal puzzle of staggering precision, a desert that behaves like a living combination lock. After encountering the elevator that returns to the Grand Gate's entrance, players head east through a blocked-off door. Inside, a bench holds a poor bug and the key. The scene is quiet, almost mournful, as if the key were a relic left by someone who could not escape. The fourth key requires narrative legwork. In the Citadel, next to the First Shrine, Jubilana the Merchant sells the final Simple Key for 650 Rosaries. Before she does, players must pick up the Wish "The Wandering Merchant" and track her down in the Citadel. Once that quest is complete, she relocates to the First Shrine. The key is expensive, but it is also a symbol of a relationship earned rather than a transaction forced. The Four Doors They Unlock Door Location Reward or Consequence Deep Docks Underground, lava-filled ruins Access to a challenging area with stronger enemies and a boss Sinner's Road Immediately south of the area's bench Frees the jailed Green Prince Wormways Northeastern side of Bone Bottom Two routes: bottom path with worm vomit, or higher path with volatile earth; leads deeper into Wormways High Hills Just before the Gauntlet fight in the Citadel A large cache of Rosaries rather than a new area or NPC The first door most players encounter sits in Deep Docks, an underground ruin of lava and grating. After unlocking the fast travel point, the path heads east and down grates opened by levers. Continuing east over lava leads to a large locked door.

Hollow Knight Silksong: The Best Endgame Build for Act 3
https://dealnesthq.com
As of 2026, Hollow Knight: Silksong presents players with seven unique crests and more than sixty tools, a combination that can overwhelm even veterans. By the time the final act arrives, the sheer number of options makes it difficult to know which crest, Silk Skills, and support tools will produce the most reliable results. The following endgame build has proven itself as one of the strongest Act 3 configurations available. It focuses on the Shaman Crest, electric Silk Skills, and a compact set of utility tools that keep Hornet alive while she shreds bosses. Most of the setup can be assembled during Act 2, but its centerpiece, Pale Nails, is locked behind Act 3 progression. As a result, this build is intended for players who have already reached the late game and are preparing for the toughest encounters in Pharloom. The Shaman Crest and Its Three Silk Skills The foundation of the build is the Shaman Crest, which players can find in the Ruined Chapel area of the Moss Grotto. It only becomes available after they have unlocked the Silk Soar ability in the Abyss. The Shaman Crest allows players to equip three Silk Skills at the same time, making it ideal for a setup that relies on spending silk aggressively. The three recommended Silk Skills are Pale Nails, Sharpdart, and Cross Stitch. Pale Nails is the centerpiece. Players can obtain it during Act 3 by binding Grand Mother Silk's arm at the top of The Cradle. It delivers massive damage and scales beautifully with Volt Filament. Sharpdart can be acquired much earlier by binding the statue behind the Needolin door on the west side of the Wormways. It gives Hornet a fast way to reposition behind enemies and dodge incoming attacks. Cross Stitch comes from defeating the Phantom boss in the Exhaust Organ area of Bilewater. It adds a parry option, which is invaluable against aggressive bosses. Blue and Yellow Slots Assuming the player already has both Vesticrests and has used Memory Lockets to unlock the two blue slots on the Shaman Crest, the build should leave three blue slots and one yellow slot. The yellow slot is almost always reserved for the Compass, which makes traversing the world of Pharloom far less tedious. It is not a combat tool, but the quality-of-life improvement is difficult to ignore. For the blue slots, Volt Filament is mandatory. It imbues Silk Skills with an electric charge, and that charge is what turns the build from strong into broken. Weavelight is the next best choice, as it improves silk regeneration and keeps the skill rotation flowing. Wispfire Lantern adds passive damage, which helps during both exploration and boss fights. If the player has collected enough Spool Fragments, Spool Extender can replace Wispfire Lantern for additional silk capacity. Slot Tool Purpose Crest Shaman Crest Enables three Silk Skills White Slot #1 Sharpdart Mobility, repositioning, and evasion White Slot #2 Pale Nails Primary damage dealer White Slot #3 Cross Stitch Parrying and defense Blue Slot #1 Volt Filament Adds electric charge to Silk Skills Blue Slot #2 Weavelight Improves silk regeneration Blue Slot #3 Wispfire Lantern Passive damage; swap for Spool Extender if needed Yellow Slot Compass Map traversal and navigation How the Build Plays The gameplay loop is simple but devastating. Hornet builds silk, then spends it on shock-imbued Silk Skills. Pale Nails does most of the heavy lifting, while Sharpdart covers mobility and Cross Stitch offers defensive parries. Volt Filament ensures every skill carries extra damage. Weavelight sustains the rotation, and Wispfire Lantern chips away at enemies between attacks. Compass keeps the player oriented, though it can be swapped out in challenge runs if map knowledge is sufficient. The build's main weakness is its late-game requirement.

Hollow Knight Silksong: Mastering the Shaman Crest in 2026
https://dealnesthq.com
Among the seven crests in Hollow Knight: Silksong , six can be acquired during the first two acts. The seventh—the Shaman Crest—is a late-game treasure that only appears in Act 3, and only after players have obtained the Silk Soar ability from the depths of The Abyss. This crest is widely regarded as the most powerful of the bunch, and for good reason: it allows Hornet to equip three different Silk Skills simultaneously, turning her into a veritable tornado of steel and silk. To put it in perspective, it's like giving a concert pianist three extra hands, each playing a different melody that somehow harmonizes into pure devastation. Or, if one prefers, imagine a chess grandmaster who can make three moves at once—bosses never stand a chance. When paired with blue tools like the Volt Filament, the Shaman Crest becomes even more deadly, as the added electric damage synergizes beautifully with rapid-fire Silk Skills. Before players can claim the Shaman Crest, they must have unlocked Hornet's Silk Soar ability. Assuming that prerequisite is met, the journey begins at the Bone Bottom Bellway. From there, players should head left until they come to a hole with a ray of light shining down on it. Once there, they can drop down and head inside the doorway to the Ruined Chapel on their left. Inside the Ruined Chapel, players should head to the far right and stand in front of the lore marker. Then, they need to use Silk Soar by holding down together with the harpoon button (S on PC, L2 on PlayStation, LT on Xbox, or L on Switch). This action propels Hornet through the ceiling above her, allowing her to carry on to the right. From here, it's a simple case of following the path, while being sure to destroy the three breakable walls using slash attacks along the way. Eventually, players will drop down into an area with a destroyed statue. Standing in front of this will allow them to hold down to claim, after which they'll just need to tap the Bind button a few times to unlock the Shaman Crest. The moment of acquisition is shown below. To begin with, the Shaman Crest only has three white slots unlocked. However, by using a couple of Memory Lockets, players can unlock two blue slots. If they haven't already done so, they can add a yellow slot and one additional blue slot by getting the two Vesticrests from Eva in Weavenest Atla. Here's a quick breakdown of the slot progression: Slot Type Initial After Memory Lockets After Vesticrests ⚪ White 3 3 3 🔵 Blue 0 2 3 🟡 Yellow 0 0 1 With the full array of slots unlocked, the Shaman Crest transforms Hornet into a one-woman army. The ability to wield three Silk Skills at once means players can chain devastating attacks, control crowds, and melt boss health bars. It's the difference between bringing a spoon to a sword fight and bringing a Swiss Army knife that also happens to be a flamethrower—except even that analogy undersells it. Think of the Shaman Crest as a skeleton key that unlocks a door behind which sits a personal battalion of silk-wielding warriors, all answering to Hornet's command. In 2026, the Shaman Crest remains a game-changer for Silksong enthusiasts. Whether players are veterans of the first game or newcomers to the sequel, mastering this crest is essential for tackling the toughest challenges that Act 3 and beyond have to offer. So go forth, claim that crest, and watch as Hornet becomes an unstoppable force of nature. 🎮⚔️✨ Maxing out the Shaman Crest means farming Memory Lockets and tracking down the Vesticrests from Eva, and that kind of prep work often pushes players to look for ways to stretch their gaming budget a little further. If you're planning to pick up Hollow Knight: Silksong on another platform, grab the original game for a fresh playthrough, or stock up on similar Metroidvania titles to fill the wait between Acts, it's worth keeping an eye on where prices drop before

Silksong in 2026: How I Use Mods to Tame Team Cherry’s Brutal Masterpiece
https://dealnesthq.com
As a longtime Hollow Knight fan who has spent a lot of 2026 replaying Hollow Knight: Silksong, I can say this: Team Cherry’s sequel is brilliant, but it is also brutally hard. Is it harder than the original? I think so, at least in its opening hours. The game’s wider exposure has brought in players who may not be deeply familiar with Metroidvanias or Soulslike punishment, and that can make Pharloom feel like a wall rather than a challenge. If you love the art, lore, and combat but wish Silksong had an easy mode, the mod scene is your best friend. I still recommend starting with vanilla, because the base game is masterful. But if you are thinking about dropping it, a few community mods can make the experience far more accessible without completely breaking it. Most Silksong mods use BepInEx, and in 2026 the installation process is still pretty simple. Here is how I do it: Download the BepInEx zipped file that matches your system. Extract its files and add them to Silksong’s install folder. I placed BepInEx in the Content folder. Start and exit the game. This creates the required BepInEx folders. You can also create the plugins folder manually inside BepInEx. Download a mod and add its .dll file to the plugins folder. Load the game, and the mod should work. Some mods may have unique instructions, so I always read their descriptions first. That said, the BepInEx method covers most of what I have tried. Stakes of Marika - Rebirth Anywhere Creator: Kassant Silksong uses the Soulslike formula of benches as respawn points. Benches are not extremely rare, but most maps have only about two, so a defeat can send you through multiple screens. Some benches also need Rosaries to unlock, and Rosaries are scarce in Act 1. The result is a frustrating death-runback-death loop. Stakes of Marika - Rebirth Anywhere changes that by respawning you from the current screen rather than a bench. You revive at the most recent entry point, almost where you died. Press F8 to return to the last bench, and you can even create a custom respawn point. No Double Damage Creator: Baiker Silksong loves double damage. Many bosses and mobs have attacks that remove two of Hornet’s masks, and some environmental hazards do the same. Since you start with five masks and expanding that limit takes serious work, Hornet can feel fragile. No Double Damage makes attacks take only one mask. Does that make the game too easy? Not really. You still need to master mechanics and avoid combos, because multiple hits still add up. The mod just stops every mistake from being catastrophic. Increase Player Damage Creator: stebars Even early mobs can take 4–6 hits, which makes Hornet feel weak and reflects Silksong’s origin as a Hollow Knight DLC. Increase Player Damage boosts your damage by two, so fodder enemies go down in 2–3 hits. Flying enemies that flee after every hit become much less annoying, and bosses also fall faster because the mod affects all opponents. Double Rosaries Creator: BlueRaja Act 1 is stingy with Rosaries. Silk is plentiful—you will hit the 400 limit without much trouble—but Rosaries are rare. Bone Bottom’s Pebb sells a Simple Key for 500 Rosaries, Shakra sells maps, and the Forge Daughter in Deep Docks has useful Tools. Double Rosaries doubles enemy drops, and you can raise the multiplier to three, four, or more. For me, this mostly removes the need to grind in the first few hours. AutoMap Creator: WheresWolfgang Shakra sells maps, but Silksong only updates them when you rest on a bench. Narratively that makes sense, but practically it makes exploration less smooth. AutoMap updates the map immediately as you explore. It is the least game-altering mod on this list, but it is a quality-of-life change that makes a real difference. Shadow Dash Creator: Null_993 Hornet becomes far more mobile after learning Swift Step, but Swift Step has no invin

Little Nightmares 3: A Terrifying Co-op Dance Through The Carnevale
https://dealnesthq.com
I still remember the moment I sat down at PAX West in Seattle, teaming up with another journalist to enter The Carnevale, the nightmarish fun fair at the heart of Little Nightmares 3. We had roughly an hour, two characters—Low and Alone—and a heady mixture of curiosity and dread. Now, in 2026, after the game's October 9 release and countless co-op sessions since, that preview remains one of my favorite horror memories. Little Nightmares 3 is not simply another sequel; it is a two-player organism, and it demands that you and your partner breathe, panic, and puzzle in sync. The Carnevale: A Music Box Wound by Trembling Hands The Carnevale wrapped around us like a music box wound by trembling hands—pretty on the surface, but ready to snap. Monstrous attendees lurked among the stalls, and every cheerful light seemed to hide a trap. Tarsier Studios' series has always excelled at atmospheric horror, and this entry keeps that timeless art style. The camera angles and vistas often make the game look like a Tim Burton film playing out across the screen. From color grading to lighting to character design, Little Nightmares 3 is visually striking and exceptionally moody. The subdued soundtrack keeps focus on whatever terrible thing Low and Alone are witnessing next. Despite the vague cuteness of its art style, the game isn't afraid to hit players with gruesome moments. At one point, my partner and I slowly tore a deceased carnival attendee's body in half. Our grizzly action was accompanied by the sickening sound of entrails collapsing to the floor. It was disgusting, and it was exactly the kind of moment that makes the series unforgettable. Co-op Is the Spine, Not a Gimmick Little Nightmares 3 represents a natural progression. The first game featured a lone protagonist. The sequel brought an NPC helper. This upcoming entry—now released—is built from the ground up for two-player co-op, and it does a great job. While Six's companion role in Little Nightmares 2 added depth to puzzles, Little Nightmares 3 benefits significantly across the board with a second player. Our cooperation was a two-headed creature learning to walk—awkward, fragile, and occasionally collapsing into the sawdust. We used our characters' unique abilities, and frantic communication was key. It wasn't always graceful. More than once, one of us forgot to crouch at an inopportune moment, and our duo met its demise. The game is not terribly easy. It's routinely challenging, which keeps up the tension even when retrying a sequence. Throughout the room, journalists could be heard screaming, laughing, and panicking as each team explored the carnival. Weight, Helplessness, and Teamwork When it comes to moment-to-moment gameplay, Little Nightmares 3's movement and interactions have a weightiness that sometimes enhances the feeling of helplessness. Low and Alone aren't terribly fast, and most actions aren't automatic. To climb through a window, I had to remember to put my weapon away first. Minor mistakes like this can cost precious seconds while being chased. The tension was a porcelain teacup holding back a waterfall. Combat was relatively straightforward: the player with the bow must first shoot an enemy to disable it, and then the player armed with a melee weapon can finish it off. Even in combat, teamwork and coordination are essential, encouraging my partner and me to call out targets and time our strikes. Some basic actions also call for both players, such as instances where one player hoists the other to an elevated position and subsequently finds a way to bring their partner along. Element How it felt Puzzles Contemplative, then suddenly frantic Chases Heart-pounding, demanding quick thinking Combat Simple, but reliant on callouts Scale Tiny protagonists vs.

Silksong's Insect Identity: Mapping Pharloom's Cast to Real-World Bugs
https://dealnesthq.com
Since Hollow Knight first invited players into Hallownest, Team Cherry has used the insect kingdom as both aesthetic and narrative engine. By 2026, Hollow Knight: Silksong has had time to settle into the broader metroidvania canon, and its cast remains one of the richest subjects for speculation. The game's creatures range from sentient, speaking bugs to savage beasts, and their designs draw on some of the most beautiful and horrifying real-world arthropods. The following analysis is not official taxonomy. It is a descriptive, fan-led attempt to identify the bugs behind the voices and silhouettes of Pharloom. 🐛 Hornet — The Bald-Faced Hornet Hornet is the most obvious candidate for a name-first identification, but the name alone does not define her. She is a sentient, agile protector with a red cloak, needle, and silken threads. Yet when her silhouette is compared with a bald-faced hornet, the resemblance becomes harder to dismiss. The bald-faced hornet has a dark body and stark white markings on its face. Dress one in a light red robe, and the visual argument writes itself. The parallel is not perfect, because Hornet is a character with agency, dialogue, and a complex role across Hollow Knight and Silksong, while the real insect is a colonial hymenopteran. Still, the sharp waist, predatory posture, and warning coloration make the bald-faced hornet a compelling inspiration. Shakra — The Paper Wasp Shakra is a fan-favorite for many reasons. She looks cool, occasionally joins combat, sells maps, and sings in a hauntingly lovely voice. Compared with Hornet, Shakra is taller, larger, and lighter in palette. Her design shares similarities with the paper wasp. The insect's sand-like yellow coloration echoes Shakra's own tones, and the paper wasp is native to India, where the concepts of chakra and chakram originated. That cultural and visual overlap gives the comparison extra weight. Shakra may be a wandering merchant and warrior, but her polished carapace and calm confidence read as vespid. 🐝 Bell Beast — The Isopod In stark contrast to the talkative Stag of Hollow Knight, the Bell Beast is a beast, and a tough one at that. After being tamed through battle, it becomes a loyal companion willing to carry Hornet across Pharloom. It is one of the more distinct bugs in the game, and its isopod inspiration seems relatively clear. Isopods are terrestrial crustaceans with segmented, armored bodies and many legs. Fossil and modern examples include large, shelled forms. Place an image of the Bell Beast beside one, and the connection becomes solid. The Bell Beast's rolling gait and defensive shell reinforce the isopod read, even if the creature is scaled up to mount size. 🐚 Forge Daughter — The Darkling Beetle After hiking through several maps, players eventually meet the Forge Daughter, a one-stop shop for crafting. She is large and polite, but all business as she looms over Hornet and hammers at her forge. Most of her distinguishing features are covered, which makes identification tricky. A darkling beetle is a strong possibility. These beetles can grow large and round, with thick shells. A forge worker would need a sturdy exoskeleton for protection against heat, sparks, and heavy tools. The Forge Daughter's bulky silhouette and patient, deliberate movements fit the darkling beetle profile better than a slimmer, more aggressive insect would. 🔨 Nuu — The Rotund Disc Snail Instead of the mysterious six-eyed creature living in the bushes, Silksong introduces Nuu as the Hunter expert. She gives Hornet the Hunter's Journal and tasks her with hunting and cataloging all the bugs of Pharloom. At first glance, Nuu is evidently a snail: eye stalks, a soft body, and a backpack-shell that she can remove at will.

Hollow Knight: Silksong's Ascending Level Design Redefines Metroidvania Exploration
https://dealnesthq.com
Level design is a cornerstone of the Metroidvania genre, and few games understand this as deeply as Hollow Knight: Silksong. In the 2017 original, players descended into the depths of Hallownest, gradually unraveling its mysteries. Silksong, however, flips the script. Instead of delving downward, players ascend the Kingdom of Pharloom, climbing toward the citadel at its peak. This structural inversion isn't just a narrative twist—it fundamentally reshapes exploration, pacing, and platforming, making Silksong feel distinct while honoring its predecessor's legacy. From the moment players take control of Hornet in the hub area of Bone Bottom, the goal is clear: reach the citadel at the top of Pharloom. Unlike Hollow Knight, where the objective was ambiguous and the world pulled players ever deeper, Silksong establishes a vertical trajectory from the outset. Each new region conquered represents a tangible step upward, fueling a constant sense of progression. This ascending structure doesn't rely on solving a central mystery with each layer; instead, it offers a straightforward, rewarding climb that keeps players motivated. The shift from descending to ascending has profound implications for level design. In Hollow Knight, the Knight's journey was largely about descent—both literal and metaphorical. Players dove into the Forgotten Crossroads, then further into the fungal wastes, the city of tears, and the deepnest. Each layer revealed more about Hallownest's tragic history. The level structure supported this gradual peeling back of the mystery, with branching paths that often led downward. Silksong's ascending design, by contrast, emphasizes verticality. Hornet is far more acrobatic and agile than the Knight, and the level design is built to showcase her skills. The long climb to the citadel is filled with opportunities for stylish leaps, flips, and aerial maneuvers. New abilities are introduced that synergize with this verticality: elegant air dashes to clear wide gaps, a billowing cloak that allows gliding and riding slipstreams high into the air, and eventually, the ability to use Hornet's needle as a grappling hook. These tools transform traversal into a dynamic, expressive experience. Aspect Hollow Knight Hollow Knight: Silksong Direction Descending into Hallownest Ascending Pharloom Narrative Focus Unraveling mysteries Reaching a clear goal Protagonist Mobility Moderate Highly acrobatic Level Verticality Limited Extensive Key Abilities Dash, wall jump, double jump Air dash, glide, grapple Platforming Focus Horizontal exploration Vertical gauntlets While the Knight had movement abilities, Hollow Knight's level design rarely demanded prolonged climbing. Silksong, however, frequently presents lengthy platforming gauntlets where the explicit goal is to ascend to the level's exit. This seemingly simple change is one of the most impactful differences between the two games. It affects every moment of gameplay, from combat encounters to exploration, subtly and overtly encouraging players to think vertically. Hornet's new abilities include: 🌀 Air Dash : Clear wide gaps with elegant speed. 🧣 Billowing Cloak : Glide and ride slipstreams to reach high places. 🪝 Needle Grapple : Use Hornet's needle as a grappling hook to swing across chasms. The ascending structure also influences how secrets and optional paths are integrated. Just as in Hollow Knight, Silksong's first few hours are filled with optional pathways brimming with rewards and secrets. Players are encouraged to explore every nook and cranny, but now that exploration often involves climbing upward rather than delving downward. This creates a different rhythm—one that feels more like a pilgrimage than a descent into the unknown. The verticality extends to the biomes themselves.

Mornye Team Guide: My Best Comps in Wuthering Waves
https://dealnesthq.com
I'll be honest — when I first pulled Mornye, I expected another Verina clone I'd bench within a week. Instead, she quietly became the glue holding two of my favorite teams together. She's a support in Wuthering Waves with universal buffs and healing, which means she can slot into almost any squad and still hold her own next to Verina or Shorekeeper. Sometimes she's a little better, sometimes a little worse — but that's exactly what versatility looks like. And with the new mechanics she brings to the table, I'm fairly confident upcoming characters will only make her more valuable in future patches. Why Mornye Is Worth Building Let's be real: is Mornye the strongest universal support in the game right now? Not quite. She still struggles to outshine Verina and Shorekeeper in raw comfort. But in her niche teams? That's where she genuinely shines as a healer and buffer. Here's what she actually brings: 💥 25% All DMG Amplification on her Outro Skill 🎯 +40% DMG taken by enemies she marks 🌀 Increased Off-Tune Buildup Rate for the whole team ❤️ Team-wide healing and HP reset when allies re-enter the field 🔍 Access to Wide Field Observation Mode for faster buff setup So where does she fit best? Two comps stand out for me. Team 1: The Tune Squad — Mornye + Lynae + Iuno This one clicked for me instantly. Pairing Mornye with a strong Tune Breaker like Lynae gives her enormous value. Lynae sets the field so the main DPS can shatter enemy Tune bars and dump damage, while Mornye cranks up the team's Off-Tune Buildup Rate and layers on her universal buffs. Iuno is the perfect finisher here — a main DPS who thrives on everything Lynae and Mornye provide. And if you don't have Iuno? Any DPS who deals their damage through their Resonance Liberation works fine as a substitute. My rotation, step by step: Open with Lynae and fill her Concerto Energy — this buffs and triggers Mornye's Intro Skill. That lets Mornye enter Wide Field Observation Mode immediately instead of slowly building it up. Run your normal rotation, starting with Mornye and ending with Iuno. Why does this matter? Because starting the fight with Mornye is a trap — her Observation Mode charges slowly on its own. Let Lynae do the opening work, and Mornye arrives ready to go. Team 2: Mono-Fusion — Mornye + Lupa + Galbrena If Tune Break isn't your thing, this is the alternative I keep coming back to. Lupa wants three Fusion units on the same team to unlock her full buff potential — and Mornye happily fills that third slot without sacrificing any of her universal utility. Lupa hands the next resonator Fusion and Basic Attack DMG buffs, which makes Brant and Encore natural candidates to carry the damage. But honestly? Galbrena is so absurdly strong that she slots in here and performs just as well, if not better. And here's the part that still surprises me: after the first rotation, Mornye should always lead the team's cycle. She heals everyone and resets their HP when they re-enter the field. Then she stacks the Off-Tune Buildup Rate, then the 40% increased DMG taken debuff, then the 25% Amplification from her Outro — and all of that lands before Lupa even shares a single buff. Quick Comparison Team Core Members Main DPS Options Best For Tune Break Mornye + Lynae Iuno, any Liberation DPS Tune shattering, burst windows Mono-Fusion Mornye + Lupa Galbrena, Brant, Encore Fusion synergy, sustained DPS Is She Worth the Investment? So, should you build Mornye? If you already have Verina and Shorekeeper fully geared, she isn't mandatory. But if you're running Tune Break or Fusion teams, she's not just a filler healer — she's an amplifier that makes average DPS units punch above their weight class. That's the thing about supports like her: they don't look impressive on a tier list.

Silksong Widow Boss Guide: Silk Traps, Bells, and Patience
https://dealnesthq.com
Bellhart's haunting is not a subtle affair. The Widow of Bellhart pulls leftover Silk from Pharloom's remnants, using it to puppeteer the town and summon a storm of bells. Hornet, the protagonist of Hollow Knight: Silksong, has every reason to cut the strings. And make no mistake: this early-game boss is no pushover. She tests patience, spacing, and the player's willingness to learn a limited but punishing moveset. Yet once her rhythm clicks, the fight becomes one of the most satisfying encounters in the game. In 2026, as the Silksong community continues to dissect every boss, the Widow remains a memorable gatekeeper—not because she is impossible, but because she demands respect. 🕸️ Why the Widow Fight Matters The Widow is the perpetrator behind Bellhart's current hauntings. Her attacks are thematic, built around bells and Silk, and they force Hornet to stay mobile without relying on raw damage. Because the first nail upgrade is not available before this fight, the player cannot simply rush her health down. Instead, survival depends on cautious play, smart tool usage, and learning a compact set of attack patterns. It is a marathon, not a sprint—and that is exactly what makes the victory feel earned. ⚔️ Best Equipment for Fighting Widow Widow's moveset involves staying still while pulling rocks or crawling along the ground for extended periods. That makes placeable traps unusually strong. Throwing Sting Shards directly over Widow or laying Tacks along her path can deal excessive amounts of damage. Quick-throwing weapons like the Straight Pin and Threefold Pins are also reliable options for additional damage between attacks. Tool or Accessory Type Why It Helps Sting Shards Placeable trap Deals heavy damage when Widow pauses or crawls Tacks Placeable trap Punishes her ground path and long animations Straight Pin Quick throw Reliable chip damage between patterns Threefold Pins Quick throw Extra damage without committing to melee Pollip Pouch Booster Upgrades tool capacity, damage, and passive effects Weighted Belt Defensive Prevents unnecessary hits from falling boulders while attacking Bell Defensive Shields from off-screen attacks while healing Druid's Eye Healing Offers additional healing potential Combining these tools with the right boosters makes the fight easier, but none of them turn it into a complete breeze. That is good news: players do not need to spend hours farming Rosaries or perfecting a loadout before facing Widow. If nothing special is available, the fight is still absolutely winnable. Honestly, that flexibility is one of Silksong's kinder design choices. 🔔 How to Beat Widow and Dodge Attacks Widow's attack patterns can feel fast and overwhelming at first, but her moveset is fairly limited and not too difficult to learn. The key is to stay alive by playing cautiously rather than trying to delete her health bar. 🔔 Diagonal Roof Bells Widow calls down bells from the roof at a diagonal angle. The player should keep an eye on which direction they are landing. This move offers a perfect chance to deal extra damage once the bells are dodged. ⬇️ Vertical Bells Widow also calls down several vertical bells to prevent movement. This is the perfect time to launch projectiles or a Silkspear if there is extra thread to spare. Do not get greedy with melee. 🌀 Jump, Slash, Run Her next most common move involves jumping into the air before slashing diagonally, then running across the screen. The player should avoid this by dashing directly underneath her. If timed properly, this move also allows several diagonal pogo attacks while she runs from side to side. That is a useful habit to build for when she starts slashing aggressively without the jump later on. 🛎️ Dash and Summon Bell Hazards Periodically, Widow will dash without attacking to summon bell hazards from below.

Best Hollow Knight: Silksong Mods to Ease the 2026 Journey
https://dealnesthq.com
Hollow Knight: Silksong has finally stepped out of its shell, and by 2026 the community has already woven a surprisingly robust modding scene around it. While Team Cherry’s design choices are deliberate, many players still look for small conveniences that soften the challenge without breaking the experience. From invisible boss health to bouncing Rosary Beads, Silksong has plenty of quirks that mods can smooth over. The following list highlights some of the best mods available for players who want a kinder, more readable journey through Pharloom. These are unofficial tweaks, so travelers should test them carefully and keep backups. No Double Damage — Ease Up on Harm One of the first hurdles in Silksong is its health system. Instead of a traditional bar, Hornet’s health is shown as discrete points, or masks. Most enemies deal one point of damage, which feels manageable until bosses and tougher foes start hitting for two. The No Double Damage mod removes that spike entirely, ensuring every hit costs only one mask. Players who are still learning enemy patterns, or who simply want to stretch their current health pool further, will find this mod a blessing. It can be disabled later, once comfort and upgrades make double damage less terrifying. Show Healthbar — See Boss Progress Boss fights are a defining part of Silksong, and they are also a major source of frustration. The game hides boss health completely, leaving players to guess how close a foe is to defeat. The only clues are angrier attack patterns and the eventual death animation. Show Healthbar fixes that by adding a visible health bar to bosses, making each fight feel more like a soulslike duel and less like a blind endurance test. For players who want feedback rather than mystery, this mod offers a reassuring sense of progress. Magnet Effect — Pull All the Things Silksong introduces Shards and Rosary Beads as collectible currencies. Both have uses, and both can be harvested from specific spots or dropped by enemies. The annoyance is that they behave like literal loose change, bouncing and scattering when players try to collect them. With danger lurking nearby, chasing a runaway bead can be deadly. The Magnet Effect mod grants Hornet an inherent magnet ability, similar to a specific in-game item, so currency is pulled in more efficiently and safely. Teleport — Be Here and There Silksong demands a lot of walking. Bell Beast Stations are the only fast-travel option, and they must be unlocked while remaining in fixed locations. If a player misses something in a far corner, the trek back can be long. The Teleport mod takes a strange but useful approach: it lets Hornet save her current position and load into it at any time. This can cut travel time dramatically, though players should run plenty of tests before relying on it during critical runs. Attack Range — Reach for the Scars Hornet’s Needle is noticeably longer than the Knight’s Nail, but its range can still feel short when enemies crowd the screen. Players often need to stand closer to danger than they would like. The Attack Range mod allows adjustments to Hornet’s attack reach, giving every swing and thrust a little more space. It may sound minor, but a few minutes in Silksong shows how valuable that extra distance can be. Rosary Drop — Baddies with Beads Of the two currencies, Rosary Beads are the more desirable. Almost every important vendor trades in them and asks for large amounts. Unfortunately, they are rarer than Shards and tend to roll away when dropped. The Rosary Drop mod solves this by making every enemy type drop Rosary Beads on death. It turns a stingy economy into a downpour, giving players far more chances to catch what they need without chasing beads into danger.

Wuthering Waves Charts a Course for Xbox as Version 3.3 Approaches
https://dealnesthq.com
Wuthering Waves has spent the better part of two years proving that a post-apocalyptic open world could feel brisk rather than bloated. Since its May 2024 debut, Kuro Games' flagship has grown from a scrappy challenger into one of the most respected live-service titles on the market — a turnaround that culminated in a Players' Voice win at The Game Awards 2025, handed to a game that many observers had written off after a lukewarm launch. Now that journey reaches another milestone: an Xbox release confirmed for July 2026. 📅 A March Announcement, A July Arrival Revealed during the Xbox showcase on March 26, 2026, the port is scheduled to land on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox for PC, and Xbox Cloud simultaneously in July 2026. Kuro Games has additionally dangled exclusive goodies for Game Pass subscribers, though the precise nature and format of those rewards remain undisclosed. Moving a game of this scale onto a new console family resembles transplanting a living coral reef into unfamiliar water: the structure can be lifted intact, but every polyp of optimization has to survive the crossing. That metaphor carries weight here, because the studio's previous platform expansion was not entirely smooth. 🎮 Platforms and Timing at a Glance Platform Status Window PlayStation 5 Live since January 2025 Mixed reception on optimization Xbox Series X/S Confirmed July 2026 Xbox for PC Confirmed July 2026 Xbox Cloud Confirmed July 2026 Game Pass perks Teased Details pending 🗡️ The Core Loop That Won Players Over The premise remains straightforward. Wuthering Waves is an action role-playing game set in the post-apocalyptic world of Solaris-3, where players step into the role of the Rover, roam an ever-expanding open world, and assemble a squad of Resonators, each carrying distinct abilities and combat roles. Characters are acquired through the game's banner system, and it is precisely here that Kuro Games separated itself from the pack. Its pity system behaves less like a casino wheel and more like a metronome: countable, predictable, and quietly reassuring. A hard cap of 80 pulls for 5-Star characters, paired with guaranteed Weapon Banners, has made Wuthering Waves a frequent recommendation for players exhausted by stingier alternatives. 🎂 Version 3.3 and the Second Anniversary Before any Xbox player touches the game, existing fans have a significant patch to digest. Version 3.3 is set to launch on April 29, 2026, and is expected to run through June 10, 2026. It lands squarely on the game's second anniversary, which means extra pulls for everyone chasing the two incoming 5-Stars, Hiyuki and Denia. That anniversary timing is not incidental. It gives the community a celebratory buffer between now and the console launch, and it keeps the content pipeline visibly healthy heading into the summer. 🌍 Four Regions Await Newcomers Assuming Kuro Games holds to its established update cadence, Xbox arrivals will most plausibly step into Solaris-3 around Version 3.4, or more realistically with Version 3.5 in late July 2026. By then, Lahai-Roi will be largely fleshed out, handing newcomers four substantial regions to explore: 🏯 Huanglong — the original homeland where the Rover's story begins 🌊 The Black Shores — a coastal expanse with its own mysteries 🎭 Rinascita — the nation whose update cycle earned widespread praise ❄️ The Roya Frostlands — the frontier introduced alongside Lahai-Roi in Version 3.0 That backlog is both a gift and a warning. New players will have hundreds of hours of exploration waiting, but they will also be arriving two years late to a narrative already in motion. ⚠️ The Series S Question Excitement in the gacha community is genuine, yet so is a persistent worry: how will the game perform on Xbox Series S? Wuthering Waves 3.1: Why Kuro Games' Open World Rewards a Return
https://dealnesthq.com
Wuthering Waves has long since stopped being a curiosity and become a fixture. Kuro Games' story-driven action RPG has collected an array of prestigious awards and nominations, among them a TGA Player's Voice win and a TGA Best Mobile Game nomination. Its reception on PC storefronts tells a similar story: more than 38,000 player reviews within its first six months, holding a rating above 90 percent. Perhaps most telling of all, its all-time concurrent user peak was surpassed once again in recent months, a sign that the audience is not merely holding steady but actively growing. For anyone who drifted away after an early chapter, the current state of the game makes a strong case for returning, because the world of Solaris-3 has changed considerably. A Foundation Built on Combat, Companions, and Momentum At its core, the experience rests on three pillars. The first is combat that leans heavily on the genre-defining Resonator system, a structure that rewards players for switching between characters, chaining abilities, and timing dodges with precision. The second is a narrative that unfolds gradually rather than dumping its mysteries all at once, giving the story genuine forward momentum and a steady supply of memorable set pieces. The third is an open world dense with exploration, from hidden puzzles to vertical traversal challenges. What separates the title from its peers is not simply competence but identity. Its art direction is instantly recognizable, and the constant introduction of new ways to harness abilities keeps the moment-to-moment play feeling fresh even hundreds of hours in. The setting itself remains endlessly fascinating, the roster of companions is eclectic enough to keep players invested, and the soundtrack has quietly become one of the strongest in the genre. In short, it is a game worth playing, and more so now than ever before. From Renaissance Cities to Frostlands Part of what makes the game compelling is that it changes over time, and it does so with purpose. Between major iterations there are consistent smaller updates, but the headline patches are where the real transformation happens. Version Headline Addition Flavor 2.0 Ragunna City Italian Renaissance-inspired grandeur 2.4 Septimont Classical Roman influence 3.0 LaHai-Roi & Roya Frostlands Sci-fi research hub, 35+ km² region 3.1 Frostlands Surface New sub-region, expanded traversal When version 2.0 arrived, it introduced a gorgeous city inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Ragunna City is packed with content, but many players found themselves simply standing still to admire its sheer scale and ornamentation. Version 2.4 then pulled in Classical Roman influence through Septimont, delivering a similarly striking sense of place. LaHai-Roi and the Startorch Academy Era Version 3.0 represented the best kind of paradigm shift. Drawing on the epic setting's science-fiction side, it introduced players to LaHai-Roi, a city situated near the Roya Frostlands. Its centerpiece is Startorch Academy, a multinational research hub focused on Resonator augmentation. The Roya Frostlands themselves constitute a fully realized, large-scale region, with a map spanning more than 35 square kilometers. Version 3.1 has already built on that foundation by opening the Frostlands Surface sub-region, and further expansion is expected as the story continues to unravel. The Expedition Motorbike Changes Everything Arguably the most impactful addition of the 3.0 cycle was the expedition motorbike. Players can summon their own bike at any moment to traverse the vast world map, turning long journeys into something considerably cooler. Crucially, Kuro Games did not stop at transportation. Racing mechanics and dedicated combat functionality were developed specifically for the vehicle, elevating it from a convenience feature into a fully fledged gameplay system.
